THE BEST NATURAL ATTRACTIONS IN NEW SOUTH WALES

In this post we will talk about 5 natural attractions that you can visit in New South Wales. A zone of Australia greatly know for the big city of Sydney and its Blue Mountains, but that has a lot more to offer!
It wasn´t an easy task to choose only 5, but here you have my suggestions to use on your visit to NSW:
Jenolan Caves
In one of the valleys of the Blue Mountains you will find the Jenolan Caves! The world oldest cave system and the caves that are considered the most beautiful ones in the entire Australia!
To visit the caves you need to book in advance and to choose which of the caves you want to see. Due to the big size of all the system, there are 5 caves that are very different between themselves and that can be visited. The visits last from 1h to 2h, accordingly to the one you choose and the prices vary between 40 AUD to 60 AUD. On the official website you can see the difficulty level of each cave and choose the best for you.
Hot hair balloon ride on the Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley is known as the birthplace of the Australian wine, but here you have way more than amazing wines! The valley is also home to some breathtaking landscapes!
The most known activity to do here is the famous wine and cheese tasting, however you should not miss a hot hair balloon ride once here. The best company to do this activity is the Balloon Aloft, which has more than 40 years of experience with this kind of activities.
The experience lasts for 3 to 4 hours, being 2 hours on the hot hair balloon, and also a breakfast in the Peterson House, one of the most famous wineries of the region.
The prices are around 315 AUD per person and you should book directly on Balloon Aloft´s website.
Pebbly Beach
Whenever I think about Australia that image of a paradise beach with some kangaroos passing by just comes to my mind.
If the same happens to you, you should definitely had the Pebbly Beach to your itinerary.
The beach is part of the Murramarang park and it´s very known for its surf conditions and natural beauty. It’s also a great place to camp and wake up to this Australian beauties.
Clarence Valley
This is probably one of the most unique valleys in Australia! Surrounded by beaches, cities and tropical forests that are part of UNESCO´s natural world heritage.
Here you can find a bit of everything and you can easily escape to nature at its purest state!
It is definitely worth to visit the small town of Grafton, known for its avenues that become purple due to the Jacarandas. To all the fans of picturesque towns you should visit Grafton between the end of October and the beginning of November, when the Jacarandas festival takes place.
To those of you who want to enjoy the most out of the natural beauty of this part of Australia you should visit the Clarence river, which has the biggest whitewaters trail from Australia. Here you can find 195kms of breathtaking views.
Ball's Pyramid
On Lorde Howe´s Island, one of the biggest paradises of Australia, you can find one of the most unique diving places in the world!
Ball’s Pyramid it´s the biggest sea stack from Australia, being 551 meters high. For the fans of marine life, this place is paradise! Here you can find dolphins, turtles and even Galapagos whales! Would you also like to dive in these waters?
